If you come by plane:
You can choose one of the following airports: Rome (230 km), Bologna (220 km), Ancona (60 km) , Pescara (100 km), Rimini (130 km).
You can get to the place of the marathon from the airport by car, bus or train.
It’s simple to take a direct BUS from Rome Fiumicino Airport or a direct train from Bologna. From Ancona/Pescara/Rimini you should take a bus to the train Station and take a train to Porto S.Giorgio&Fermo.
If you travel by train:

You should select the destination Porto S. Giorgio & Fermo.
For coming to the Astoria Hotel scould take a local bus, the bus stop will be opposite the Hotel.
If you come from Rome or Bologna by bus:
From Rome there are regular buses, the final stop of which (Fermo, San Francesco) is near to the Hotel Astoria – the venue of the marathon.
ROME: Buses depart from Fiumicino and Ciampino Airports, and from Tiburtina Station.
BOLOGNA: Buses depart from Central Bus Station (near the Central Railway Stration)
